Who we are

Homes UK is a trading name of Homes UK Group Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 16921463, registered office Bankside 300, Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich, Norfolk NR7 0LB. Our registration with the Information Commissioner's Office is in hand, and this notice will carry the number as soon as it is issued.

What we collect, and why

When you browse, we process nothing about you beyond what the server needs to send you the page. Your shortlist is held in your own browser and never sent to us.

When you enquire, ask for a brochure or book a viewing, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the park and home you are interested in, your budget if you give it, a preferred time for a viewing, and anything you write in the message box. We need this to answer you and to arrange the viewing.

If you go on to buy, the sales team collects what a purchase requires — proof of identity and address, and the details of any home you are part-exchanging. That is done in person and under the purchase paperwork, not through this site.

We keep a record of which pages were viewed only if you have accepted analytics cookies.

Our lawful bases

Legitimate interests — answering your enquiry, arranging a viewing you asked for, and securing the site against abuse. We have weighed these against your interests and you may object at any time.

Contract — the steps taken at your request before entering into a purchase agreement.

Legal obligation — the records an estate business is required to keep, including anti-money-laundering checks once a purchase is agreed.

Consent — optional cookies, and marketing email. You may withdraw consent at any time, and doing so is as easy as giving it.

Who sees it

The sales team for the park you enquired about. An enquiry is also recorded in ParkOS, the operating system the parks run on, so that whoever calls you back can see what you asked.

Our processors — the hosting provider that runs this site, our email provider, and the provider of ParkOS. Each is bound by a written contract restricting them to our instructions.

We do not sell personal data, and we never will. We do not pass enquiries to third-party brokers or finance companies unless you ask us to.

Where it is held

Data is stored on servers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where a processor operates outside that area, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become a purchase: two years from the last contact, then deleted.

Purchase records: seven years from completion, because HMRC and the anti-money-laundering regulations require it.

Marketing consent: until you withdraw it, and we check it is still wanted every two years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it for a given purpose, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to the address above and we act within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first, so that we can put it right.

Cookies and the map

Our cookie policy explains what is stored in your browser and why. Map tiles are served by tile.openstreetmap.org, which sees your IP address when a map loads. Fonts are hosted on this domain, so no font service sees your visit.
